Philippine Fashion Week Holiday 2010 (Day 5)

Fifth Day
The last day of this weeklong event. Indeed the best of all! Well, not really for I lost my phone in the Bench/ Human/ Kashieca show (pm me your numbers pls! haha)

Okay. Let's start with Marlon Rivera's show.
Unlike the other shows, his had less attendees. I think he invited only a few important persons to showcase his latest collection. He presented his pieces through a short film - quite relevant now that short films are getting in the trend, basing on Karl Lagerfeld's Remember Now for the recently launched Chanel Cruise Collection 2010, and Bruce Weber's Ain't Nothin' Like The Real Thing for Yves Saint Laurent Fall/Winter 2010-2011.
His muse was model-turned-photographer Joan Bitangcol

Jerome Salaya Ang
I super love his collection! The choice of fabric is very interesting. As soon as the models walked down the catwalk with the very disturbing scoring added, it felt like they brought the audience to a whole new dimension.
baliw-baliwan ang drama ni teh.

Bench/Human/ Kashieca Show
Unlike the Jag show, I was able to have a seat in this show considering that the venue was jampacked (mall atrium, MOA), mainly because PFW people were kind enough to find me one.
The show was star studded - Bea Alonzo, Shaina Magdayao, Jake Cuenca, Diether Ocampo, Angelica Panganiban, Coco Martin, Melai and the PBB housemates and some other starlets. haha.

Michael Cinco's divine collection!
His show was the only one given a standing ovation among all the other shows during the PFW.
This Dubai based designer is truly a world-class genius!
