NIXON MARQUEZ / ASHLAR MASONRY

NIXON MARQUEZ / ASHLAR MASONRY
ash·lar |ˈa sh lər| n’ Ashlar is prepared (or “dressed”) stone work of any type of stone.
ma·son·ry |ˈmāsənrē| n’ stonework.
A type of building construction utilizing polished stones arranged in a calculated, précise and meticulous manner. When done correctly it can create arches, curves and walls. Ashlar is usually referred to as “dressed “stone because the faces are sometimes embellished or decorated with carvings.
Ashlar Masonry Collection by Nixon Marquez is the product of his fascination with geometric shapes colliding with streetwear, creating clothes with structured silhouette and lethal minimalism.
